The Mercatus Center at George Mason University reviewed the distribution of $157 billion in stimulus dollars based on publicly available reports and found that there was “no statistical correlation” between the amount of money a district got and its income or unemployment rate.

Glenn Beck is the man. He calls it like it is and he is very passionate about what he talks about. Its because he knows it to be the truth. Beck has proven to be a battering ram on liberalism. Read his take on the Cophenhagen “climate meeting.” He has hit the nail on the head. Phew, he spoke exactly everything I foresee happening myself. Here’s a little take from his stuff:

It used to be God, government and you. For centuries, that was the accepted line. Our Founders said, wait a minute, that’s out of order: It should be God, you then government.
Well, to make their new system work — which, coincidentally, is a lot like the old system — climate cultists have to get rid of God. Then they can ask, well who are you to tell me? But if they take God out of the equation, they’re going to need to replace it with something and they have the planet.
Ah, now it works: Earth, government and you. You must serve the planet — the planet replaces God; it’s fixed.
It all comes down to this: The climate cult wants more than just your recycling bin. If that was all this was about, I’d gladly join in. We recycle here at work, I recycle at home. I believe that we have a responsibility to be good stewards of this planet. But what they want is total submission.
It will start with legislation to limit your energy use. It will involve huge taxes — national at first, then global. They will, through the smart grid, control your home thermostat. They will limit the amount you can travel by car. But ultimately, it won’t be enough, as the article in Canada’s Financial Post points out.
The only way to really stop their imagined disaster is to limit the number of human beings on this planet.

Government controlled ObamaCare is on its way: A liberal, Marxist President and a liberal, Marxist Democrat leadership in the Congress will ensure this. Government ran health care = total choas for the system. Look at these few quotes from this article and tell meif something sounds wrong:

Notice that millions will still be uncovered as of 2019 (ten years from now) despite excessive spending. Then, the best part, Middle Class America is going to get rocked by the plan. Wait, I thought only those making $250,00 or more were considered those that would have to pay more taxes, etc. ? Was that NOT a campaign promise from his Obamaness?

President Barrack Obama warned in the Election of 2008 he planned on tampering with NCAA Football Bowl Champion Series (BCS). It is an obviously flawed system and I personally believe we NEED a playoff system. I’m tired of all the crying and bragging of idiots who think they know football. Do we really need the United States Federal Government to step in? Looks like our Democratic Congress is making its first slow move against the NCAA.
The President let it be known last fall he would do this. Then we get liberal sports commentators from the SEC on CBS calling for a College Football Czar to exact “equal” punishments. See, this is how liberals do things-its somehow to establish equality or justice. Name a college that doesn’t receive government aid in some form or another in the NCAA. I can see some sort of Collegiate Athletic Civil Rights Bill established that would supervise the use of federal funds in sports and given the individual that runs this program, a Czar, the ability to cut federal funding if “certain criteria” weren’t met or adhered to. It would all be done under the guise of helping the underrepresented athlete (which happens to be predominately minorities). Of course, this will take some sort of tax on high earners who attend colleges to justify the unequal opportunities of the athlete. After all, they just had to get a scholarship through sports to simply be where the advantaged middle and upper class students have access. BOOM! Government owned football.

Reperesenative James Sensenbrenner (R) of Wisconsin is making a head strong, well documented but ill-fated attempt to attend to Copenhagen Circus (U.N.’s meeting on “Global Warming”). There are several things that I like about this story:
1. The dude is actually GOING there. Where’s the normal people who can show up and protest all this crap in Copenhapen? Oh wait, I know, we are working and paying off the Bush-Obama deficit.
2. He’s called out the ideological movement of “Global Warming,” the religion, Scientific Fasicsm. ON THE MONEY BABY, you said it right. Look at this quote from story linked:

Got this story at Forbes while reading Drudge Report today. GREAT write up and point made about Man-Made “Global Warming.” In the 1970’s, the “consensus” was that the earth was heading for a new ice age. Here are some great points that the article points out:
“Random House dutifully printed ‘THE WEATHER CONSPIRACY … coming of the New Ice Age’… Newsweek fell in line and did a cover issue warning us of global cooling on April 28, 1975. And The New York Times, Aug. 14, 1976, reported ‘many signs that Earth may be headed for another ice age.’ ”
“In 1974, the National Science Board announced: ‘During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade. Judging from the record of the past interglacial ages, the present time of high temperatures should be drawing to an end…leading into the next ice age.’ ”
Science’s prediction of “A full-blown, 10,000 year ice age,” came from its March 1, 1975 issue. The Christian Science Monitor observed that armadillos were retreating south from Nebraska to escape the “global cooling” in its Aug. 27, 1974 issue.

It’s outlined in sections 440 and 1904 of the House bill (Page 838), under the heading “home visitation programs for families with young children and families expecting children.” The programs (provided via grants to states) would educate parents on child behavior and parenting skills.
The bill says that the government agents, “well-trained and competent staff,” would “provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains … modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices,” and “skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development.”
The government is somehow going to be an expert on raising kids??? OK…ever been the DMV? Ever had to deal with paper work issues at the Court House? What about our great public schools? What about the Post Office? This is GREAT. Look at what the President said about UPS, FedEX and the Post Office (watch the video):
